Home school agreement.
The school will:
oEnsure your child?s physical and social well being at all times, and enable your child to achieve being healthy, staying safe, enjoying and achieving, making a positive contribution and economic well being as detailed in the
every child matters document.
oDeliver a balanced and carefully planned curriculum which meets the needs of your individual child.
oEnsure that all homework tasks are given regularly, and that they reflect your child?s learning needs.
oContact you as soon as possible, if we are concerned about your child?s work or behaviour.
oWelcome parents/carers into the life of the school and keep you informed about general school matters.
oProvide a range of extra-curricular activities designed to enrich the children?s social experience.
oKeep you informed about the school?s policies and guidelines on behaviour.
Pupils
I promise to:
oAlways try my best in my lessons.
oComplete and hand in my homework.
oBehave well and keep the school rules, including wearing the correct school uniform.
oBe polite and helpful to other pupils and grown ups.
oAlways try to enjoy school and help other children do the same.
oIf I am unhappy or need help, I will talk to my teacher.
Parents/carers
I/We undertake to:
oEnsure that my child attends school regularly and the school is made aware of reasons for absences straight away.
oEnsure that my child arrives promptly at the beginning of the day and, where appropriate, is collected promptly at the end of the school day.
oFully support the school?s policies and guidelines on behaviour.
oAttend parent?s evenings and discussions about my child?s progress at school.
oSupport my child in his/her homework tasks.
