30 Jun 2008 - Y6 film nominated for 2 awards

As part of their literacy, children in y6 made films of the poem 'the Jabberwocky'.

Mrs Mcgarr then entered them into a digital movie competition and they have been nominted for two awards. The first award is run by the council and they  have come in the top 3 for this and are going to county hall , Matlock to get prizes and certificates on Thursday the 10th July.

The second award is the DAFTA award and this ceromony is held at cineworld in Chesterfield on Wednesday the 2nd of July. Fingers crossed that we do well.
