Here you can find some information about the topics we are studying and have a look at some of the work we have done.

 

In Year 5 we enjoy doing lots of work using the new ICT suite in school, such as working with Graphic applications, using the internet as a tool for research and using Cameras and Windows Movie Maker to record our own short films.

 

We do a lot of PE and sport and are continuing to learn to work togther as teams, communicating effectively and supporting each other.

Autumn term: Health, Space, Ancient Greece, Biscuit making and textiles.

 

Spring term: Gases and their properties, Changing states (science), Local history (Heanor and surrounding area)

 

Summer term: Water, Sound, Moving Toys and Controlling devices.
