Y6 homework

                        

Homework serves the following purposes:

1. To encourage self-discipline and personal organisation.
2. To create additional time for structured learning.
3. To bridge the gap between home and school.
4. To allow parents direct involvement in their child's learning.             

In y6 children get the following homework each week:                       

 

 

Monday- put spellings into complex sentences

 

 

Tuesday- science homework

 

 

Wednesday- numeracy homework

 

 

Thursday- reading and spelling work

 

 

Friday - literacy homework

 

It is also benificial if children read through the cgp revision booklets daily in the run up to SATs.

 

 

 We are working hard this term to improve the presentation of our work  so please ensure your child completes their homework to a high standard.
